Rev. Vitalis Amulele
Rev. Vitalis Amulele Odanga was born and raised in Musembe Village, Kakamega, in Western Kenya. At the age of 25, he relocated to Mombasa, where he lived with his parents, John Odanga and Rose Odanga.Vitalis gave his life to Christ at Ushindi
Baptist Church in Mombasa in the year 2000, and he was baptized
in 2001 under the guidance of Bishop Joseph Maisha. His spiritual journey began with his active involvement in the church, and he initially served as the Regional Youth Coordinator for the church.
As he continued to grow in his faith, he became more deeply engaged in ministry, and in 2013-2014, he attended a discipleship class where he was confirmed as an Evangelist. Following his confirmation, Pastor Vitalis led the North Region of Ushindi Baptist Church as an evangelist, where he continued to develop his leadership skills and expand his ministry efforts.
In 2015, Vitalis married Sarah Amulele in a colorful wedding ceremony, and together they were blessed with a son, Leon Odanga. In the following year, he was appointed as the Regional Praise and Worship Coordinator, a position that allowed him to further contribute to the church’s worship ministry.
In 2022, Kings Highway Baptist Church, and later posted to serve as Pastor in Mtito, where he currently leads and shepherds the local congregation.
Pastor Vitalis’ journey is a testament to his deep commitment to God, his dedication to ministry, and his willingness to serve in various capacities within the church, from youth ministry to worship coordination and pastoral leadership. Through his service, he continues to impact lives and spread the gospel in his community.
