Pst. Faith Nafula Simiyu

Born in 1984 to Apostle Dr. Cephas Simiyu and Rev. Ruth Simiyu, Pastor Faith Nafula Simiyu was raised in a strong Christian household, where her walk with Christ began at an early age. A pivotal moment in her spiritual journey came in the early 1990s during a crusade led by Reinhard Bonnke in Machakos, where Faith made a personal commitment to Christ. This life-changing encounter set the foundation for her lifelong pursuit of spiritual growth, service, and ministry.

Early Ministry Foundations

Faith’s passion for ministry was sparked through her exposure to influential spiritual leaders, including Bishop Paul Mutua and Pastor Lai. These early experiences instilled in her a deep love for God’s work, and she eagerly joined her father, Apostle Dr. Cephas Simiyu, in missions and evangelism efforts. Her formative years were characterized by a fervent zeal for sharing the gospel and serving in various ministry roles alongside her father.

Education & Theological Training

Faith’s formal education began at Machakos Primary School (1991-1998), followed by Machakos Girls High School (1999-2002). However, it was her theological training that truly shaped her ministerial journey. In 2013, she enrolled at Kenya Baptist

Theological College, where under the mentorship of Apostolic Bishop Fred and Rev. Eunice, she deepened her biblical knowledge and honed her leadership and spiritual skills. Their guidance was pivotal in solidifying her understanding of ministry, grounding her firmly in the Word, and preparing her for greater service in the body of Christ.

Ministry Experience

Between 2011 and 2014, Faith worked closely with the late Bishop Ben Bahati, where she gained invaluable experience in areas such as ushering, evangelism, and media ministry. She played a key role in establishing House of Grace Church in Eldoret and hosted a Christian television program on Daystar TV.

In 2018, Faith transitioned to Mombasa, where she became the Media Director at Kings Highway Baptist Church (KHBC). Serving under the leadership and mentorship of Bishop Fred and Rev. Eunice, Faith was given opportunities to further develop her ministry skills, particularly in outreach initiatives. She led door-to-door evangelism efforts, coordinated crusades, and helped shape the church’s media outreach. These experiences allowed Faith to nurture her gifts, and her pastoral calling became increasingly clear.
