Pastor Frederick Otieno Charles was born in 1999 in Got Kachola, Migori County, Kenya. He was raised in a Roman Catholic family, with his parents, Charles Owaka and Eunice Achieng Charles, both being devout Catholics. Despite his Catholic upbringing, Frederick’s life would take a transformative turn, leading him into the Christian ministry.
Fredrick’s childhood was marked by humble beginnings. He began his primary education at Got Kachola Primary School, but due to health complications and the need for a better environment, he moved to live with his grandmother. There, he continued his education at Osogo Primary School. After a few years, Frederick returned home to complete his primary education, later moving to Mombasa in search of better opportunities.
Upon arriving in Mombasa, Pastor Frederick started working with Kayugi Home Repair Contractions, a building and construction company, as a helper in 2017.
It was during this period that Frederick encountered a life-changing moment. Despite the many challenges and hardships, he faced, he felt a profound calling from God to enter ministry at the young age of 18. One day, during a Mega Crusade led by Apostolic Bishop Fred Indangasi of Kings Highway Baptist Church (KHBC), Frederick gave his life to Jesus Christ, marking the beginning of his spiritual journey and calling into ministry.
Spiritual Journey on December 31, 2017, Pastor Frederick Charles joined Kings Highway Baptist Church (KHBC), where he thrived spiritually under the mentorship of Apostolic Bishop Fred Indangasi. He was also greatly supported by his friend and fellow church member Pastor Festus, who played a significant role in his spiritual growth and development.
Frederick’s passion for ministry grew as he became an active member of the Intercessors Network and a leader in the youth ministry at KHBC. His dedication, combined with his spiritual maturity, soon led him to become an evangelist, spreading the message of the Kingdom of God wherever he was sent, including Mtito Andei and the Western Region of Kenya.
Through his journey, Frederick has become a passionate servant of the Lord, committed to evangelism and ministry, and continues to impact lives through his outreach efforts.
Pastor Frederick Charles is currently not married but remains deeply committed to his faith and ministry. His journey is a testament to God’s faithfulness and the transformative power of a calling answered at a young age.
