Rev. Edward Ncubiri M’Mauta

Rev. Edward Ncubiri M’Mauta was born in 1978 in Machungulu village to Mr. Simon M. Mtea and Mrs. Joyce Kaloki, both devout Catholics who instilled strong Christian values in his upbringing. Edward began his education at Tuuru Primary School, where
he studied from 1990 to 1997. After completing his schooling, he moved to Mombasa in 2002, where he worked as a shopkeeper under the guidance of his brother, David Michubu, a businessman in Mwembe Tayari. Edward continued working there until 2005, when he relocated to Kisauni and operated as a shopkeeper for the next year and a half. In January 2008, he established his own business in Bamburi Mambo, which he successfully ran until June 2021,
when he moved to Mtwapa.

In 2004, Edward made a life-changing decision to commit his life to Christ at Ushindi Baptist Church and was baptized the following day. Under the spiritual guidance of Bishop Joseph Maisha, he grew in faith and began his journey into ministry. He initially served in the Hospitality Department as an usher before becoming the Youth Chairman for the North Region, a role he held from 2006 to 2008.
During this period, he also embraced his calling as an evangelist, working alongside fellow evangelists to spread the gospel.

In 2005, Edward met Apostolic Bishop Fred Indangasi, and their partnership in ministry soon began. Pastor Edward joined Bishop
Fred’s evangelism group, and through this collaboration, his pastoral calling became more evident.

In 2016, after years of service at Ushindi Baptist Church, he joined Bishop Fred at Jesus Power Evangelistic Missions and Kings Highway Baptist Churches, where he received mentorship and guidance that solidified his path in pastoral ministry.

Currently, Pastor Edward serves as the Resident Pastor at Kings Highway Baptist Church Headquarters. His dedication to ministry is supported by his wife, Jacinta Nkatha, whom he married in a vibrant wedding ceremony in 2010. Jacinta also actively serves in the Women’s Ministry (BBMI) at the church. Together, they are blessed with three children: Joyline Kaloki, Hope Kendi, and Blessing Kinya.
