Rev. Martin Mumbo Nderi
ev. Martin Mumbo Nderi was born in 1982 to Mr. Mumbo Nderi and Esther Sidi in Takaungu, Kilifi County. He began his education at Takaungu Primary School, attending from 1992 to 1999. After completing his primary education, he moved to Shanzu in Mombasa County, where he worked as a shopkeeper from 2000 to 2004.
In 2005, Martin relocated to Mtwapa and joined Ogalis K Coast Hotel, where he trained as a pool attendant and waiter, working there until 2010. In 2011, Martin experienced a life-changing moment when he gave his life to Christ at Jesus is Lord Anointed Ministry (JILAM) in Mtwapa.
In the same year, Martin joined The Moorings Hotel, working as a marine and beach operator. He was trained as a Coxswain and, in 2014, received his license to operate a motorboat. He worked in cruising and deep-sea fishing until 2019 when he felt a strong calling to ministry.
In July 2019, Martin traveled to Nairobi and joined Kings Highway Baptist Church (KHBC), where he was supported and mentored by Pastor Mtawali.
In 2020, he experienced a burning desire to preach the gospel and teach the Word of God. At the end of October 2020, he joined the KHBC headquarters in Mombasa.
In November 2020, his calling to ministry was officially confirmed by our Apostolic Bishop, Fredrick Indangasi, and through the guidance of Bishop Fred and the Word of God, Martin was sent to serve at the KHBC Mtito Andei branch.
He served in Mtito Andei from November 2020 to November 2021 before being transferred to KHBC Shinyalu in Kakamega County, where he continues to serve to this day.
