Rev. Rebecca Nyamasyo
Rev, Mwikali was born in 1960 in Machakos, Eastern Kenya, to William Nzioka and Alice Mumbua, both devout Christians who instilled in her the values of faith and obedience. She attended
Mwaluvanga Primary School in Shimba Hills, Kwale County, where she completed her CPE Certificate in 1979. She then joined Lukore
Secondary School in 1980 but had to leave after Form 2 due to financial constraints.
In 1980, while at Lukore Secondary School, Rebecca accepted Jesus as her personal Savior. Following her departure from school, she became active in the Salvation Army Church, serving as a youth leader and evangelist. After her marriage to Stephen Mututu on August 16, 1981, she continued her ministry as a women’s leader at Mivumoni Salvation Army Church until May 11, 2000.
Upon moving to Rila village in Lungalunga Sub County, Kwale County, she felt called to serve in a deeper capacity. She joined the Redeemed Gospel Church in Mwandeo, where she was baptized and took on various roles including prayer leader and assistant chairlady.
In 2014, she and her husband were the founding members of Kings Highway Baptist Church in Rila, with Apostle
Fred Indangasi dedicating the altar. Rebecca served as the church’s first pastor. She is currently the pastor of Kings Highway Baptist Church in Bengo, Rebecca married Stephen Nyamasyo
in 1981, and together they have five children and twelve grandchildren. Through her ministry and family life, she continues to embody a spirit of service, faith, and community engagement.
